The basic level technical training covers the basics of building acrylic nails in oval & almond shapes and is designed for people who have just begun their adventure with the acrylic method. During three-days training you’ll learn how to take care of your work space and keep yourself and your clients safe. Indigo Instructors will tell you about the anatomy of a natural nail plate, explain the specialist terminology and the features of all the products needed for creating an acrylic manicure. This training will also give you information on skin and nail conditions and diseases to avoid any potential danger.
After the lecture part comes time for a practice. You’ll learn the proper way to fit a form to any nail shape and thanks to a technique of working on paper cards created by our Indigo Instructors, you’ll learn about the properties of acrylic, the proportions of liquid to powder and practice the application technique. Once you’ve got a hang of the basics we will teach you how to create nails (clear and French) in oval and almond shape, different filing techniques, working with an electric file and performing the procedure of filling an overgrown manicure.

Individual training with an Instructor to work on a technique or address a certain problem that a student has with nail styling. During this training, the process is discussed in detail and any problems or mistakes are corrected. There is no specific topic of training. However, before the meeting takes place there is an initial verification of the students knowledge and skills in nail styling. Upon completion the student will receive an Indigo Certificate. There is an option to pay for additional hours (no more than 3) to take care of any smaller mistakes.

You look at instagram photos and you wonder how varnish can be painted in such a way that it almost “grows” from under the skins?
In the training program:
- discussion of the types of the bits
- selection of bits for the type of tile and the client’s skin
- discussing and carrying out deep skin removal with scissors and clippers
