CURING TIME

MULTILED 36 W:

Thin layer –  30s

Overlay  – 60-90s

BENEFITS:

  • Allows you to get the “wow” effect without much work and application of a large number of different products;
  • Has a medium-thick consistency that facilitates application and minimises the risk of flooding the cuticles;
  • Ensures comfort of work without air pockets;
  • Enables overlaying a perfect C-curve and delicate extension of the natural nail plate (past the fingertip);
  • Creates a layer that strengthens nails and increases their resistance to mechanical damage.

APPLICATION TIPS:

Nail plate overlay

  1. Wash and disinfect your and your client’s hands. Put on disposable gloves. Assess the condition of your client’s hands and nails to make sure that there are no contraindications to performing the procedure.
  2. Push the cuticles up with a cuticle pusher or a stick and remove them with e-file bits, e.g. Cuticle bit No.9, No.1.
  3. Use a 100/180 grit buffer to thoroughly matte the plate.
  4. Remove any dust with a soft brush.
  5. Using a lint-free pad and Cleaner No.1, thoroughly dehydrate the plate.
  6. Apply a suitable primer (Acid-Free Primer or Acid Primer).
  7. Apply a thin layer of Candy Base in Lemon Bob and cure in the lamp (30 seconds in the MultiLed lamp).
  8. Apply a second, thicker layer of the base to gently build up the nail. You can level the surface of the base with a thin brush, e.g. Master Nail Art 007 or turn your hand over and let the force of gravity shape the upper arch of the nail. Cure the styling again. Because this layer is thicker you can extend the curing time to 60 seconds in the MultiLed lamp.
  9. Secure the styling with a top, e.g. Tip Top or Wet Look and cure in the lamp again for 30-60 seconds.
  10. Wait about 60 seconds for the top coat to cool down.
  11. If you chose a top coat with a sticky layer*, remove it with a cotton pad soaked in Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner.
  12. To add even more shine to your nails, you can polish them up with a dry cotton pad.
