BASIC INFORMATION

The Gel Polish Manicure course is addressed to people who want to start their adventure with nail styling, both professionally and as a hobby. This is the first step that will prepare you for independent work and give you the perfect foundation to deepen your knowledge of the topics related to the work of a Nail Stylist.

After signing up for the course, you will receive a set of training materials developed by Indigo Educators on occupational Health and Safety, nail diseases and styling methods (in a step-by-step version). All the received texts will help to consolidate the knowledge gained during the training.

At the beginning of the course, the Educator will show you how to apply the principles of occupational hygiene and what the decontamination sequence looks like. Then you will learn how to properly perform a gel polish manicure so that the styling is both aesthetic and very durable. Next, you will learn to prepare a nail plate using traditional methods such as cuticle pusher, nippers, buffer and file, and start working with an e-file for even more accurate results. Next, the Educator will explain how to level the nail plate with gel polish. You will perform the styling with smooth colour and learn how to make “express French” using covering gel polish bases. Finally, the Educator will show you how to remove gel polish not to damage the natural nail safely.

The course ends with a short theoretical knowledge exam, based on which the International Certificate Indigo Gel Polish Manicure Course is issued.
